English Hairdresser in France

I'm Amanda Drew and I have been working within the Hair and Beauty industry for over three decades.

I always knew I wanted to be a hairdresser. My sister will testify to numerous fringe disasters when we were very young and I still remember that all of our dolls had very short hair!

I joined the team at Hairstyles of Mayfair when I left school and served as an apprentice hairdresser under M. Henri. When my own children were at school I returned to education at Exeter College and gained further qualifications in Beauty, Massage and Epilation .

I opened my first Hair and Beauty salon in 1994 and we moved to larger premises in 1998; since moving to France my daughter has taken over the reins and continues to run this salon.

Weddings in France

I live in the beautiful Dordogne region of south west France and I continue to work in the business I have known and loved for so much of my life. I choose to specialise in Weddings because they are occasions full of joy. I loved working with brides in the UK and as South West France is such a popular wedding destination it seemed the obvious choice for me.

I still continue to work with clients who live locally and all of the services I offer to my brides are of course available to everyone.
